This 240 is powered by an upgraded and swapped l28e 1982 280zx 5 speed engine. The l28e received flat-top pistons and a high quench head, raising the compression ratio to 8. 8:1, and thus increasing the power. This engine has been rebuilt and it runs great except for a minor oil leak.

In late 1969, the 240z was introduced to america and changed the opinions of many about japanese built cars. Needless to say, the z clobbered competition from the likes of alfa romeo, fiat, opel, triumph and mg. This 1972 240z has been repainted in a nice shade of lime green. The original color looks to have been code 112, yellow. The seats have also been recovered in a new, black vinyl. The original engine has been upgraded to an l28, from a 280z. Giving the car almost 20 more horsepower and torque than the original engine would have. The inline 6 in this car runs nice and strong and has a sporty note from the exhaust. The 5 speed manual allows the driver to stir through the gears while the independent suspension front and back take care of the handling. This datsun also has air conditioning. Air Conditioning
